
How to unlock iPhone 17 Pro Max if you forgot the passcode:

If You Forgot the Passcode on Your iPhone 17 Pro Max
If you can’t remember the passcode for your iPhone 17 Pro Max, you’ll need to erase the device to remove the passcode. Apple provides secure, official ways to do this using your Apple ID.
iPhone does not support pattern locks. Only numeric or alphanumeric passcodes are used.
Option 1: Use “Forgot Passcode” on the iPhone
If your iPhone is running a recent version of iOS, you can reset it directly from the lock screen.
Steps:
- Enter the wrong passcode until iPhone Unavailable appears
- Tap Forgot Passcode?
- Tap Start iPhone Reset
- Enter your Apple ID password

- Complete setup and sign in with your Apple ID
Option 3: Restore iPhone Using Recovery Mode
Use this option if you can’t access iCloud.
Steps:
- Connect your iPhone to a Mac or Windows PC
- Quickly press Volume Up, then Volume Down
- Press and hold the Side button until Recovery Mode appears
- Open Finder (Mac) or iTunes (Windows)
- Select Restore and wait for iOS to reinstall
